California Fruit Wine is an innovative winery in San Diego that handcrafts wine from a variety of fruit other than grapes. We believe fermented beverages should be easy to drink, enjoyable - even refreshing. Instead of covering up the fruit with oak or, on the opposite-side, turning the wine into sugar syrup, we strive for well-balanced, fruit-forward, crisp wines. We are being well-received by our fellow San Diegans and anticipate a bright future as a staple San Diego company and San Diego product.
Our wines are made in small lots, from exceptional fruit, bin to barrel, with Love and Gratitude. Friends, family, love, and especially the grape growers all contribute to the production of these delicious artisan wines born in California's premier appellations.
Fifty Barrels is a grassroots, urban winery featuring handmade, artisan wines from California's finest grapes. Our palate-pleasing wines are made through the collaborative efforts of a few fraternity brothers who met in college and a couple of great guys (and gals!) they picked up along the way. We are a fully functioning production facility, handling everything on site from the time the grapes leave the vine till the juice hits your glass.

The traditions and history of San Diego inspire us at San Pasqual Winery to create wines that evoke the simple yet refined days of haciendas and ranchos of Old California. Solterra Owner and Winemaker Chris Van Alyea grew up in Sonoma County and has been making wine for the last 14 years from grapes sourced from Sonoma county, Lake County, Paso Robles, San Diego County, and Baja Mexico. The wines have garnered Golds and Best of Class at top competitions in California. Chris, his wife Audrey and the Solterra staff look forward to your visit.
The name 2Plank Vineyards is a tribute to the old-school skiers who would attach 2 wooden planks to their boots and slide down the mountain slopes for fun. As lifelong skiers ourselves, we have taken this adventurous approach to our winemaking. Our urban tasting room in Sorrento Valley is currently pouring 10 different wines and is open Thursday and Friday afternoons from 3pm-7pm or by appointment by calling 858-622-2001. Our Red Mountain vineyard in Fallbrook, CA is located in one of the most unique growing regions of San Diego County. Planted on steep slopes at an average elevation of 1100 feet, the dark red volcanic soils and daily maritime breezes make this terroir ideal for growing world class Rhone varietals. In addition to our Red Mountain vineyard, we also source grapes from some of the finest vineyards in California. We ferment in small lots to extract optimum flavor and color, then age in oak barrels from 12-24 months. We try to intervene as little as possible in the wine aging process, and rather let the quality of the fruit shine through. This old-world approach coupled with our new world fruit, produces wines that are ready to drink right out of the gate, but that can easily be laid down for years, to enjoy later on.
Vesper is about local vineyards and their farmers. Alysha and I seek to produce the highest quality wines that create a memorable sense of San Diego. To do so, we allow the grapes to express their unique vintage and vineyard character by caring for the fruit and being as hands off as possible. Each bottle is from a single vineyard and often field blended. Come taste what San Diego vineyards have to offer at our urban winery!
We make wine with absolute minimal intervention. Wine representative of the grape, the land, and the vintage. Locally-sourced fruit is hand-sorted at harvest, and then spontaneously fermented without the use of commercial yeast or bacteria. No acids, tannins, enzymes, clay, or other common altering ingredients are used. Our wines are unfiltered, unfined, unoaked, never sulfited, and naturally beautiful.
Founded in 1993, our boutique winery focuses on quality over quantity, by producing small-lot,handcrafted wines using traditional winemaking techniques. The result is full-bodied well balanced wines rich in flavor that have earned many medals over the years at the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition and Orange County Wine Competition. Witch Creek prides itself on being your source of some of the more unique and harder to find domestically produced varietals,such as Nebbiolo, Teroldego and Montepulciano.
